I had been craving sausage and kraut for a minute and stumbled across this place. It was open seating and we were greeted quickly. The waitress explained the difference between the sausages. The 3 sausage plate was very affordable. The food came out hot and delicious. The inside of the restaurant was nice it felt as if you step away in another place and time.

One of our favorite restaurants. Tasty food for a great price. Enjoy the atmosphere. Dine in the restaurant and then shop the wonderful selection of food in the deli. Excellent strudel.

So I have been coming here since the place opened in 1961. Needless to say lots of things have changed. But lots of things have stayed the same. Friendly knowledgeable people selling/serving classic dutch/German food. One of the few places I can get my herring filets.This is a classic in the midst of a sea of change/ mediocrity.

Yep

Yes open and they have safety measures in place. Only 8 people in the store at a time. Only 1 person per family allowed to go in. Even have plexi glass up at cash register

They sell a wide variety of chocolate, both imported and local brands. You're sure to find something you'll enjoy.

I've done curbside pickup multiple times and assuming it's not an oversized order, they are typically ready in 1hr or less.

They had a sign that they were looking to open starting June first. I would call for hours.
